How a High Deemly Score Makes Your Users More Trustworthy and Attractive

Online reputation lays at the core of the sharing economy, allowing users to safely and successfully manage all their transactions. As the collaborative industry keeps growing, peer-to-peer platforms need to build a solid database of trustworthy users that will consequently contribute to the further development of a sustainable online community.

Deemly Trust Profile

The Trust Profile Widget has been developed as a solution to the trust, bias and discrimination issues that platforms users are facing in today’s sharing economy. The Trust Profile allows users to utilize their entire digital reputation in order to better participate in all peer-to-peer marketplaces. Users voluntarily connect any number of their social media and sharing platform accounts in order to create their trust profile and generate a deemly score. Their trustworthiness is based on the ratings and reviews they’ve received on their connected accounts

How Does the Deemly Score Work

The deemly score is based on multiple sources and is thus more reliable. Our algorithm is developed in cooperation with a statistician. It calculates a trust score between 1-100 based on a number of features.

As one can understand, data is a core factor of our operations. Moreover, we are passionate about data analytics techniques. Through them, we are aiming to reveal patterns and trends, in order to create value for platform users and improve their experience within the sharing economy.

Furthermore, we are presenting the importance of a deemly score for both users and platforms. Users with a higher deemly score are more attractive as more people tend to visit their deemly Trust Profile. The graph below (scatter plot) is built on two dimensions, the deemly score and the number of views. To give a brief description of the graph, each circle visualizes a user in the above-mentioned dimensions. The increase of density in the graph shows a higher number of users concentrated in specific parts of the scatter plot.  As one can observe, users with a higher deemly score have more profile visits (higher count of views) so far.

The ID Verification Feature and Further Developments

Recently, we launched the latest upgrade to the Trust Profile – the ID Verification, which strengthens, even more, users’ trustworthiness and platforms’ credibility. At the moment, we’re also looking into how insurance can complement the Trust Profile for a complete solution to user profiles in the sharing economy.

If you want to create a Trust Profile yourself, you can get started for free here, and if you want to try it on your platform or marketplace, you can request a demo on our website.
