Sara’s role as CEO covers areas such as raising funds, developing the site as a product owner with the tech team, PR and marketing initiatives, engaging partners and onboarding customer platforms, coordinating the team and ensuring overall progress.
Sara has 4 years of experience working as a Project Manager and Management Consultant in technology companies in Denmark and the UK. She has co-founded two startups, Heatmat and MindTeacher and spent 6 months at technology startup YouNoodle in San Francisco as an intern.
Sara holds a B.A. in International Business Communications from Aarhus University and an M.Sc. in E-business from the IT University of Copenhagen. Furthermore, she holds exams from Cambridge and Stanford universities. Sara wrote her thesis on the sharing economy and is a Co-founder and Board Member of Sharing Economy DK. She also publishes works and gives speeches on the topic.
What’s a fun fact about Sara?
She’s allergic to kiwi and her first job was sweeping stairs in a lighthouse.
What’s her best sharing experience?
Driving around England last Summer she stayed in a “glamping” hut just outside Oxford, called The Little Hug, with a view of fields, horses, and a very friendly donkey.
